Please Note: These silver shepherd style castors are supplied in pairs and they are marked with L (left) and R (right). These are traditional style ball castors, with a modern silver finish. These are not the genuine Kenrick Shepherd castors, (we do also sell these) these are a cost effective alternative. They are still very well made and suitable for furniture. The stem is longer than the stem on a genuine Kenrick castor and the socket is also different, so please keep this in mind if you are replacing a genuine Kenrick shepherd castor in your furniture as these will NOT fit in the socket.
When replacing Shepherd castors:
Socket fixing castors simply fit into the existing hole in the furniture. Sometimes the socket may be a little loose in the hole, as long as the frame is not split where the socket fits you can glue in a few thin slivers of wood to wedge it in firmly, then simply push in your new silver shepherd style castor.
