These cardboard washers that we sell at AJT Upholstery supplies are to be used with ‘Long/Short’ Buttons tapes, (sold separately) to stop the tape from pulling through the cushion and the button coming out.
Normally used on fixed back cushions where the cushions are non-reversible, such as caravan backs/seats. Used for a professional finish, but not necessarily always needed.
