CAP – The cap is used with the socket (female part) on the outside of the fabric, this part is applied to the outside of the fabric and is the part that you press with your thumb when closing a snap. Nickel on steel is suitable for interior work that is not subject to weather conditions.
EYELET – The eyelet is used with the stud (male part) on the outside of the fabric, sometimes this part is not used when the stud is being fastened by screw. Nickel on steel is suitable for interior work that is not subject to weather conditions.
SOCKET – The socket is combined with the cap on the inside of the fabric, this part meets with the stud when you press a snap together. Nickel on steel is suitable for interior work that is not subject to weather conditions.
STUD – The stud is used with the eyelet (male part) on the inside of the fabric and is the part that meets with the female socket when closing a snap.
